Stack These Offenses In Fantasy Football 2026

Draft season is quickly approaching and it's time to start locking in for the 2026 season. If you've been with us all spring and summer you're staying ready so you don't have to get ready and we love you for that. With big drafts right around the corner I wanted to throw out a simple reminder that it's always important to go in with a plan, but be ready to abandon it … quickly.

You might be itching to draft that Joe Burrow-Ja'Marr Chase stack, but your draftmates could have other plans. Today I wanted to highlight some of the more expensive offenses on Underdog right now and where you can pivot for late-round stacks in the back half of drafts. Because you can never be too prepared!

Expensive: Cincinnati Bengals

Ja'Marr Chase: WR1 / Joe Burrow: QB3 / Tee Higgins: WR16 / Chase Brown: RB11

Listen, who can blame anyone for trying to get any piece of this Bengals offense?! When Burrow returned from his turf toe injury last season he was able to average 20.6 points per game, which made him the QB8 over the final six games. We need to cross our fingers that the injury gods don't take him away from us this season, because every other piece here is enticing. Chase is HIM—he trails only Puka Nacua in career PPR points per game among all wide receivers ever. Higgins plays a key role near the goal line in a very pass-friendly offense, and Brown is projected for 208 rush attempts and 73 targets. There's a reason everyone wants a piece.

Cheaper: Minnesota Vikings

Justin Jefferson (WR6) / Jordan Addison (WR41) / Kyler Murray (QB17) / Aaron Jones (RB29) / Jordan Mason (RB41) / TJ Hockenson (TE22)

Training camp will give us a clearer picture on if Kyler Murray will be the QB1 for this squad come September, but truly how could they go back to what J.J. McCarthy gave them? The Vikings went from 347 yards (12th) and 2.6 TDs (9th) per game to 275 (28th) and 1.9 (26th). I still believe that Kevin O'Connell is a quarterback whisperer. McCarthy was just the exception.

Murray is one of my favorite late-round quarterbacks to target, especially because of his dual-threat ability. He can still be dangerous on the ground, especially considering that last season he averaged his most rushing yards per game (34.6) since his ACL injury. And he has a good group of weapons around him. Jefferson is the receiver you'll have to pay up for, but considering he's coming off of career lows in yardage (1,048), touchdowns (2) and catch rate (60%), he's going to be hungry this season. While I'm not entirely sold on this backfield, the prices for Jones and Mason are hard to ignore, especially considering that we've seen mobile quarterbacks like Murray boost their offense's running back rush yards before contact frequently over the seasons.

Expensive: Philadelphia Eagles

Saquon Barkley (RB7) / De'Vonta Smith (WR11) / Jalen Hurts (QB7 / Makai Lemon (WR35) / Dallas Goedert (TE15)

There's been some shakeups with this squad heading into the 2026 season, and time will tell if they help catapult this team. Sean Mannion is now Hurts' fifth offensive coordinator in five seasons and AJ Brown is no longer going to be reading books on the sideline. According to ESPN, Hurts' average time to throw last season (2.98 seconds) was the 28th slowest in the league. And in fantasy what hurt was the fact that Hurts averaged just 6.6 rush attempts per game, the lowest mark of his career. He also scored on the ground only eight times after locking down at least 13 touchdowns in each of the previous three years.

It feels like Smith is someone the organization fully believes in, that there's a whole other level he can reach and I'm buying into that. Since 2022, Smith is averaging 19.3 points per game when seeing at least a 30% target share. With Brown out of the picture he will shine, along with the potential rise of Lemon. Everything is looking up for this offense.

Cheaper: Green Bay Packers

Tucker Kraft (TE5) / Christian Watson (WR28) / Jayden Reed (WR40) / Josh Jacobs (RB18) / Jordan Love (QB18)

I've been on record saying I love drafting Love (no pun intended). He was injured last season and didn't attempt that many passes—all things I believe will change in 2026. We have no updates on Jacobs' legal situation, but even before that it felt like the offense needed a shift anyway. The targets will be more condensed with Watson, Reed and Golden, and the return of Kraft should help elevate Love.

CMC vs JT: Who Are You Picking This Year?

We’ll be living through the Bijan Robinson vs. Jahmyr Gibbs arguments this summer all the way until we’re on the clock in our home drafts. But there’s another “discussion” brewing featuring a pair of running backs in another area of the first round.

In this corner: He’s one of just three RBs to collect 1,000 yards in both rushing and receiving in the same season, and almost did it a second time last year. Christian McCaffrey!

In the other corner: He won a rushing title at 22 and twice has collected 20 TDs in a season. Straight outta Indy, Jonathan Taylor!

If both are staring at you in the middle of the first round of your draft, who ya got? See what Jonathan Fuller has to say about it. ⤵️

Is a Year 3 Breakout Going to Happen?

Remember back when Marvin Harrison Jr. was going to become the standard for young NFL WRs? The accolades and the hype shot him up to No. 4 off the board in the 2024 NFL Draft to the Arizona Cardinals. He even went ahead of players like Malik Nabers, Rome Odunze, Brian Thomas Jr. and Ladd McConkey. What followed for MHJ was a couple of meh seasons, registering a high of 885 receiving yards in his rookie year that’s made fantasy managers wonder if the great things they saw at Ohio State were a mirage.

Now Harrison is a little more than a month from his 24th birthday, so still time for him to fulfill that promise. Should you still be wary about drafting him? Or could he be a trap? Matt LaMarca has the answers. ⤵️
